From time to time, our real jobs get in the way of recording this podcast and we have to skip recording. That happened this week. (We share the fault equally, but if everybody wants to continue blaming Kevin, go for it.)
As a way to make it up to you, we’ve got a little treat for you, courtesy of friend of the podcast, Jack White.
Before we get to it, we’ve gotten some questions about if we’ve been affected by Hurricane Harvey. We have not. We live in Dallas, which is about 3-4 hours north of Houston and barely received any rain.
Still, we personally know a lot of people who live in and around that area. You’ve probably seen the pictures by now of the damage. It’s going to take a whole lot of time and money to rebuild. If you’d like to help, we recommend donating to the fund set up by friend of the pod J.J. Watt, the Houston Texans’ star defensive lineman. Click here to donate.
You can trust a Quackolyte like J.J. to get the money into the right hands.
Now, to the reward.
A couple weeks ago Jack sent us a package, which included all kinds of stuff, including some storyboards he’d drawn for the films.
Here’s a sampling of his work, focusing Gordon Bombay finding himself on the ice and flashing back to his penalty shot.
