Where do Eden Hall/the Mighty Ducks rank among all-time sports dynasties?

Podcasts · November 30, 2016

[powerpress]

Thanks to a Quack Question, Mike, Tommy, and Kevin look at Eden Hall’s (probable) 14 consecutivve state champions and compare them to the other great dynasties in peewee, high school, college, and the pros. Is it a better dynasty than the Hawks? More importantly, does it go by scandal free?

Show notes

Thanks to Zach Grauwinkel for the #QuackQuestion that started the episode.

There was no bet made between Tommy and Kevin regarding Kevin’s car. There was just a prevoius over/under of three weeks. We’ve already hit the over.

The Turkey leg challenge is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 28.

Here’s the list of Minnesota High School hockey state champions.

It turns out that when Cretin-Durham Hall won its 11 state championships in a 15-year period it played in a separate private school division.

Mike can’t do math. It was a 14-year period for Cretin-Durham Hall.

Here’s a scene from “The Streak”:

Here’s the Wikipedia page of all the greatest sports dynasties. Where do the Mighty Ducks rank?

North Carolina Women’s soccer’s longest streak of championships was nine in a row.

Bill Russell’s Celtics won 11 titles in 13 years. The Spurs won three titles in five years from 2003 to 2007.

Thanks to @AirLemaire for the #QuackQuestion.

@QuackAttackPod What was Portman doing with his life that he can drop everything he’s doing and sign the scholarship for an exhibition game?

No pod this week again unfortunately. Tommy had to drop last minute, Kevin is dealing with life things. Mike was trying to make it work but needs to focus on other things.

Gunnar Stahl had no lines in our most recent minute. But did he do enough to earn MVP anyway? https://thequackattack.com/mighty-ducks-minute-no-203-the-almost-climax-of-the-d2-shootout/
