This is the scene Jane auditioned to:
The person who replaced Tammy, Mr. Ken Wu:
Jane mentions that her best friend on the set was Jussie Smollett. He actually played Terry Hall, not Jesse as she said.
This is the kiss that Jane says upset Paula Abdul so much that she forced production to change their filming of it.
Abdul and Estevez started dating in 1991 and according to InStyle, Estevez actually proposed to Abdul while he was shooting The Mighty Ducks.
Two years later, in 1994, Abdul and Estevez got divorced. Abdul filed for divorce on May 11. That was a few months after D2: The Mighty Ducks came out. There is no word on whether the filming or meteoric success of that movie had some sort of factor in the divorce. Our guess? Abdul as jealous.
Fun fact: Jane was also an extra in Jingle All the Way featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger. That movie also took place and was shot in Minneapolis, where Jane lived. IMDB lists her appearance as a “Christmas Caroler” but she was uncredited.
As always, thanks to Josh Luecht for the theme music.
