Regarding the “We Are the Champions” not being in D1. We have talked about this a bit before. If you have an old VHS or even a DVD, it plays “We Are the Champions” after Charlie scores in D1. For legal reasons (we’re guessing) if you watch on Disney+ there is the Mighty Ducks score in there after Conway scores on the penalty shot.
We had the show runners of Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, on the podcast back in June 2021 right at the end of Season 1.
